AEM
began land development in the Southwest Missouri market in 2000.
Cobble Creek Subdivision was our first project, located in Nixa,
consisting of 287 single family lots developed in four phases. In
the same year, AEM acquired and began development of the 203 acre
mixed-use community called Jamestown, located in Rogersville, east
of Springfield. All design, engineering, approvals, and infrastructure
construction for Phases I & II have been completed to date with
Phase III to be completed in summer 2009. A separate project located
in Rogersville, called Liberty Square Townhomes, has been designed,
engineered, and approved for 188 Duplex-Style Patio Homes. AEM also
owns and manages two subdivision developments in the Kansas City
area as well as two large mixed use developments in North and South
Dallas, Texas.
The
cities surrounding Springfield and Kansas City, Missouri and Dallas,
Texas are the targeted areas for bedroom communities with rapid
growth possibilities. AEM's objective is to find raw land in the
path of growing communities. The high multiples of value obtained
when unincorporated, agricultural land is fully annexed, zoned,
and accepted at an instant by a municipality give a distinct competitive
advantage to the developers of that master planned community. AEM
has built upon the success formula that land adjacent to expanding
cities and in the path of growth offers a lower risk and higher
reward than fill-in sites in existing municipalities.
AEM
was incorporated under the laws of the state of Missouri in February
2000.
